I'm It.... One Book!

Here is my contribution to this expanding series:

One book that changed your life: Not a book really but (in 1991) by an issue of Ligonier Ministry’s Tabletalk magazine. That was my first conscious introduction to Reformed Theology. Since then, I have been willingly, thoroughly and delightfully corrupted!!
One book you've read more than once: The Reformed Pastor by Richard Baxter.
One book you'd want on a desert island, besides the Bible: Perhaps P.E. Hughes’ Commentary On Hebrews.
One book that made you laugh: High Impact African-American Churches by Barna and Jackson, a bothersome, gruesome twosome
One book that made you cry: John Owens’ Works, Vol 6 on Mortification Of Sin in Believers; Temptation; The Nature, Power, Prevalency of .. Indwelling Sin
One book you wish you had written: Preaching Christ in All of Scripture by Ed Clowney
One book you wish had never been written: High Impact African-American Churches One book that you are currently reading: J.I. Packer’s A Quest For Godliness: The Puritan Vision Of the Christian Life
One book that you've been meaning to read: The Millenium by Loraine Boettner
